Have you been wanting to start learning but have been putting it off because of work, school, or other obligations? Well now with the quarantine that has been put into place due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus, there has not been a better time to learn!
There are many resources available to help you learn while still at home! And if you have found yourself stuck in the house with nothing to do, you have the greatest resource of all: practice time! You can watch hours of YouTube videos and read hundreds of blog posts, but nothing will improve your guitar skills like practice time!
If you don’t know where to start your practice, here are three tips to help you get started!
Learn New Chords – The more chords you can play the more songs you can play. so take some time to learn new chord formations.
Set Goals For Yourself – A song a week will improve your skills faster than anything else.
Don’t Give Up – Its easy to get discouraged when you just can’t seem to learn that song or chord you’ve been working on. If it too tough, go learn something else and come back to it later.
Its okay if you don't have a lot of time on your hands, one of the best ways to take a small step into learning how to play the guitar is to watch some of our beginner guitar videos.
